Stampin' Up! ® Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper

Have you ever had one of those weeks? Since July 7th, I haven't had much time to create and I am needing some crafting time. For my Two on Thursday Live I made some simple cards that don't take much time at all. I used the Earthen Elegance DSP and matching stamps and dies. I added in a couple of other stamp sets for the greetings.

The masculine card is made using Misty Moonlight cardstock for the base and Pebbled Path for the layer. I took two pieces of the Earthen Elegance DSP cut 2" x 4" and then layed Pebbled Path ribbon. I finished it off with a 2" circle in Misty Moonlight and stamped the sentiment from "He's All That"

For the second card Pretty Peacock was used for the cardbase. I used a layer of Pecan Pie embossed with the Timber 3D embossing folder, you can use any or none at all. The Earthen Elegance DSP was cut 3-3/4" x 3-1/4", 3" x 2-7/8", and 1/2" x 5-1/4" for inside. Very Vanilla is 2-5/8" x 2-3/4". The vase and folage was done using scraps of the DSP stamped in Moody Mauve and Copper Clay. I used the Pecan Pie ribbon to wrap around the top of the layers. I used the greeting from the "Natures Print" stamp set.

Stampin" Up! ® Timeless Arrangement Bundle

My what a week! I had to take my mom (84) to the ER a week ago, she was in terrible pain among other issues. She was admitted over the weekend and discharged on Sunday. She was feeling ok and then on Tuesday she went back to the ER becuase of Hematoma on her wrist where the IV was placed. It was the size of a half dollar. They gave her antibiotics and sent her home. Later that night she was not herself at all and the infected site was much worse. I called 911 and took her to a different hospital 45 minutes from home. After testing they determined she had a Staph infection. They drained the wound and she is now on IV antibiotics. Could be in the hospital for two weeks. Uggg! Needless to say I haven't had much time to work my business this week.

I was so happy that I could go live on Thursday for my TnT video card class. You can view the full video Here. I focused on using the Timeless Arrangement Bundle from the Annual Catalog on pag 67, Item #161526. I must say I really love this set. The dies make it so easy to make a nice border around te sentiment, and the greetings can be mixed to make any occasion cards. I paired this with the Hello Irrisistable DSP, (online exclusive).

Bright & Beautiful DSP by Stampin' Up! ®

Hello everyone, welcome to this weeks episode of  TnT (Two on Thursday). You know sometimes you just need to make a quick and simlpe card for a birthday.  Tonight I demonstrated how to make one that uses the Bright & Beautiful Memories & More Card Pack, found on page 135 of the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. With a bit of trimming and some ribbon you can make this card in no time.

The second card we stepped up a little and used the Beautiful Ballon Dies along with Circle Sayings. The most difficult part was lining up the Fringe Die on a live video. Take a look at the cards.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY - Quick project today using Stampin' Up! ®Products

Happy 4th of July to those who live in the US. We have had very little rain in Central Missouri and many towns have canceled their fire works for tonight. We really need some rain, I haven't mowed in weeks because the grass is so dry.

I have a simple project today for you. If it's to hot outside, stay inside and create.

Images Copyright Stampin' Up!®

To make this project you will need a piece of Cardstock that measures 10-1/2" x 6-1/4"
Score the cardstock at 1/2", 3-1/2", 3-3/4", 7-3/4", 8" and 10"
Desinger Series Paper(DSP) - 2-3/4" x 6" and 1-3/4" x 6"
Once you have all your score lines, using Multi-purpose glue to glue each 1/2" folds to the inside.
Adhere the DSP to each section.
Use a Post It Note pad that is 4x 6 and attach to the center using double sided tear tape.
Use 3/8" button velco dots and place 3 on the left side flap. Attach the other velco dots to the ones you have placed to ensure they attach at the same place when you close the folder.
Embellish how you wish. Remember, this maybe placed in a purse so you don't want have things attached with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this simple project and make one for yourself or a friend. Post a picture on my Facebook page, SuzieQsStamping so I can see yours.
